It is now a reality that travel will resume normalcy all over the world despite the fact that Covid-19 still continues to spread and claim lives. Nonetheless, people have to move to make things happen and so there must be some safety measures to be followed to ensure minimal chances of infection. Hotels and Airports will also be reopened for the people who will begin essential and non-essential travel again.
The following are some tips for personal sanitary space:
WASH YOUR HANDS
As the hand sanitizers are the most important thing to carry, it is important to wash your hands too. Wash your hands frequently with water and soap for at least 20 seconds. According to The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), travellers must wash hands frequently after being in a public place or after coughing, blowing of nose or sneezing.
Do not hesitate to wash your hands on the road. It is necessary when you pass the airport security as well. CDC says, rather than using sanitizer you should wash your hands as it is better for your skin.
Sanitizer contains more than 60% of alcohol and user should cover every part of the hand. Rub your hands until they feel dry to be more effective.
WIPE IT OFF
As in the near future when travelling will be resumed, disinfected wipes will be supplied in a large amount. These wipes can clean up to 99.9% of the viruses and bacteria. As per the CDC, killing germs on the surfaces after cleaning can reduce the risk of spreading the infection.
Disinfection is basically killing the germs with chemicals that do not necessarily clean the dirty surfaces or remove germs.
CDC generally recommends you stay at home when you are sick. Wear a mask when you are sick this will prevent the spreading of infection. Make a habit of wearing a mask at hospitals; this can prevent you from many infections.
The travellers who are well and have good health do not have to worry about bringing the mask. But if you have to travel a lot then you can wear a mask to prevent the spreading of germs.
