The official partnership for Hotels.com and Olympique has been announced in Marseille, London. These two are bringing together the leading accommodation experts with the leading European and Ligue 1 side.
For the next three years, you will see Hotels.com as the “Official Accommodation Partner of Olympique de Marseille.” They are also promoting the famous European destinations in winter. This will cause a strategic growth for both during their partnership.
This is said to be the strategic partnership as Hotels.com has released new travel data revealing that Marseille is the fastest-growing domestic destination. It has the demand for hotels up 25% year-on-year v/s other main French cities, which include Lyon ( up 15% ) and Bordeaux ( 20% ).
As compared with 2018 v/s 2017, there is an upward trend in which a 10% increase in demand for the city has been seen.
The international demand for Marseille is also increasing as it is very popular with French people. Hotels.com has seen that the market from the US (+25% year-on-year ), the UK (25%), Korea (15%), and Brazil (45%0 has increased. It feels like Dubai hotels on the palm after visiting the destination.
According to the agreement made, Hotels.com will have a branded presence in the stadium as well as perimeter boards, jumbotron, and across the club’s social media channels and email marketing database. They will also have their logo emblazoned on both the home, away and third kit shorts of all senior teams competing Lingue 1 matches.
